Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I use Mobile Fleet Services?
Simple- we are the most convenient way of taking care of your automotive needs.  You don't have to worry about standing in line waiting for service at a repair shop, only to find out that they are too busy to look at your car that day and "could you bring it back later?"  Not with us.  When you call you are given a time frame of when to expect service that will be reliable, as well as honest.  So many repair shops today have a bad reputation of suggesting repairs that are not necessary in order to make an extra buck from an unsuspecting customer.  You won't find that with us.  We will address your concerns in an honest way, and if we can't fix a certain issue on-site, we'll refer you to a qualified shop that can.

Are you trained and certified?
Absolutely.  Technicians have ASE certifications, and are trained in areas such as engine diagnosis, repair, suspension and steering, alignments, brakes, cooling systems, electrical, and more.  Our goal is to fix your vehicle right the first time because we would like to earn your business.

What areas do you service?
Currently we service Gwinnett, Barrow, Clarke, Hall, Walton, and Oconee counties, however we can service areas further out (excess mileage may apply for long service call driving distance).

How much does your service cost?
It depends on your location.  If you are within the counties of service listed, a service call fee of $50 is standard, and it includes the diagnosis of your vehicle's problem.  Once the problem is diagnosed, we will give you an estimate of cost to repair, including parts.  You then decide to proceed with repair if you would like to.  If you should choose to have the repair done later or at another repair facility, you only owe the service call fee.  All estimates are good for 30 days.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash and credit /debit card payment through this website.  Since we are mobile we do not carry a card machine with us, so credit and debit card payments must be made upon completion of service through a paypal linked payment processing system that is secure.  We do not accept personal checks for payment.  After service is complete you will receive an invoice from the technician, who will then check your id before accepting credit or debit card payments.  You simply pay from your home or work computer by logging on to our website!

What other services do you offer besides repair?
We are also authorized to provide road service for many insurance companies and vehicle warranty programs.  This usually is a free service with no out of pocket costs to you.  However, some roadside plans have dollar limitations so you may have to pay some out of pocket.  Please contact us for any questions regarding your coverage if you are unsure. 

Road service does not cover labor costs for repair work.  It only covers four things: 

  • flat tire change (you must have a good spare)
  • jumpstart
  • lockout (keys locked in car only, cost of key making for lost keys is not covered)
  • fuel delivery if out of fuel (customer pays for fuel but service call id covered).
